Many people not familiar with martial arts training love to ask, “Have you ever used your Karate (or other martial art) before?”
What these people don’t realize is that martial arts training is not just a skill that is learned and then carried around like a club.
Martial arts training is supposed to be a thing that becomes a part of us. Or more perhaps, changes a part of us.
It gives us greater confidence to do whatever it is we want or need to do.
It makes us more secure to praise and encourage others without feeling threatened by them.
Martial arts training should develop in us a sense of Self-Discipline that helps us be better at EVERYTHING in our lives.
Basically, REAL martial arts is something we use EVERY day.
Do you have a story of how you have used your martial arts in your every day life? We’d love to hear about it!
