On Saturday, January 25th we will be having a free self-defense seminar open to the public from 1:00 to 4:00. The first hour of this seminar will cover lecture/education (and a little Q&A) on avoidance and crime prevention. The remaining time will cover basic self-defense skills. We will also spend some time focusing on using tactical flashlights as a defensive tool.
There are three reasons why this might interest you:
1) If you or any of your friends or family want self-defense training, but aren’t able to train regularly, this will be the perfect introduction to self-defense and personal protection for everyday folks!
2) If you are already training, that first half of the seminar we will be discussing topics related to awareness, avoidance, and preventive strategies we don’t often get to discuss thoroughly in the classroom setting. So this is a great time to get a more instruction on all the strategies we should employ BEFORE we resort to physical self-defense.
3) You may have some training, but may have never thought of a tactical flashlight as a viable self-defense tool. We will cover the specifics about how to use it as a powerful tool in your arsenal.
The Q&A is also a great time to ask about anything related to self-defense, tools, home defense, carjacking, pepper spray, or any other topic you may be curious about!
